Summer Sunsets Summer Sunsets

Sunset is a point of transition within each day: the transition from day to night. I think summer sunsets are especially beautiful, with swirls of pink, orange, and deepening purple against a shimmering blue sky as the sun fades further beyond the horizon. The colors are so beautiful, and yet so ephemeral: magic that only lasts a few moments. In Washington County, surrounded by so many hills and mountains on all sides, the sunsets are especially vivid.
